Smile #124 – The Boy Who Lived

“Mr. & Mrs. Dursley of number four, Pivet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much…” That sentence captured the attention of an twelve year old and forever she joined the world of Potterhead.  🙂

Is Snape a friend or a foe?!  Will Dumbledore’s Army defeat the Who We Must Not Named?  How will it end?!  These were the dire questions that kept me yearning for the next release day.

So when the final book released, when Snape’s secret revealed, when my brain slowly processed the final page, I knew I had officially reached the end of my childhood.

I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear J.K. Rowling is penning a sequel to the magical series.  The eighth story.  Nineteen years later.  🙂

Seeing posters and advertisements announcing pre-orders for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child brought me back to those childhood summers.  July 31st couldn’t come earlier!  🙂
